Crossroads School is a California Department of Education certified non-public school serving learning disabled and emotionally disturbed adolescents between 12 and 22 years of age. Our sole purpose is to promote the academic and emotional well-being of our students.

Our total program provides a multi-faceted learning experience. Our teaching staff meets the requirements of the California Commission of Teacher Credentialing and are provided additional in-service training throughout the school year. Our administrative staff has extensive experience working with our student population.

Crossroads' basic education program adheres to the Los Angeles School District's Guidelines for Instruction and California Department of Education's Content Standards. All students are accommodated with low teacher-to-student ratios and extended time for completion of academic tasks.

Learning is enhanced through hands-on, multi-sensory instruction. The academic program is further enhanced by state-of-the-art computer lab, performing and creative arts, team sports, pre-vocational and vocational education and field trips. Both remedial and more advanced coursework at Pierce College, LA Valley College and Mission College is offered to the student population.

Crossroads utilizes the Department of Rehabilitation and the Workability Program to help students find employment and pursue career paths. Additionally, individual counseling is provided to each student sixty minutes per week by board registered therapists. Door-to-door transportation is provided throughout the San Fernando Valley.
